At Dallas Surf, we offer a comprehensive goalkeeper development program designed to shape confident, technically sound, tactically aware, and mentally strong goalkeepers.
The goalkeeper is a unique and demanding position. It requires technical skill, decision making, communication, bravery, and resilience. At Dallas Surf, we create game-like, high-expectation environments where goalkeepers grow into confident, commanding players who can change the outcome of a match.

Footwork, handling, shot stopping, positioning, catching, diving, and basic goalkeeper movements.
Advanced Technical Work
Cross management, advanced shot stopping, breakaways, distribution, and game realistic actions.
Distribution
Hands and feet distribution with a focus on quality, timing, decision making, and playing forward.
Tactical Development
Team organization, set piece management, playing out from the back, and communication with the back line.
Mental Strength
Confidence, composure, bravery, focus, resilience, and handling pressure during key moments.
Physical Training
Strength, power, mobility, coordination, speed, cardio, and goalkeeper specific athletic qualities.
Program Expectations
What to expect.
Players
- Minimum one field or classroom session per week, with the option to attend additional sessions in other areas.
- Carefully planned age group related sessions from a professionally created curriculum.
- Video analysis, pre game warm up support, evaluations, and player development portfolio support.

Parents
