Every year, typically starting May 12th, Dallas Surf Soccer Club opens its doors for OPEN TRAINING. This allows U11 through U19 players interested in joining our competitive programs to attend current Dallas Surf team training sessions.
EMBRACING TECHNOLOGY
At Dallas Surf, we’ve moved beyond traditional methods! We proudly utilize a fantastic digital platform called PLAYMETRICS for our player assessments. You’ll see our Surf Coaches using electronic devices like cell phones and tablets during training sessions to evaluate players.
PLAYMETRICS allows our coaching team to work together more effectively to ensure each child is placed in the optimal development environment. This powerful software also enables us to gather and store player information securely through our dedicated ‘PlayMetrics’ app, ensuring the privacy and safety of your data.
OPEN TRAINING
Our TRYOUTS begin May 12th, but players not currently registered with another competitive club are welcome to attend any time throughout the year. In addition, younger players (U10 Academy and below) are invited to join our regular Dallas Surf training sessions year-round.
These OPEN TRAINING sessions are a great opportunity to: 1) Train alongside current Dallas Surf player 2) get to know our dedicated and experienced coaching staff and 3) experience our club’s culure and training methodology firsthand.
