OUR MISSION
The Mission of the Dallas Surf Soccer Club is to follow the Surf tradition of creating a Best of the Best soccer environment for all players, parents and coaches in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.
Our Vision
We Live By Our Values
Dallas Surf is a club built on collobration and community. Players, coaches, and parents working together in a shared environment with clear expectations, consistent language, and a common purpose.
We believe culture is not what we say. It is what we repeatedly do.
Values
Who we are on and off the field.
Principles
How our values show up in daily behavior
How Players Learn
The game itself is the primary learning environment.
Players learn football best by playing football — through interaction, decision-making, and competition. If training does not resemble the game, learning is unlikely to transfer to match day.
Learning is not linear, and every player develops at a different rate.
Skill is not developed in isolation, but through interaction with teammates, opponents, space, and pressure.
We value adaptable solutions over identical ones.
How We Develop Players
Our approach is grounded in well-researched learning principles that show players develop best when they feel ownership of their learning, experience appropriate challenge, and feel connected to their environment.
Training environments are designed to encourage players to explore solutions, make decisions, and take responsibility for their actions.
The game provides the feedback. The coach guides the process.
How We Train
Our training methodology reflects how players learn.
Training is built on game-based learning, where the ball, direction, opponents, and consequence are present as often as possible.
Training environments are designed to represent the demands of the game. Players learn through problem-solving rather than isolated repetition.
Coaches intervene with purpose, using questions and challenges instead of constant instruction.

Our Player Pathway
Development is a process, not a shortcut.
From our pre academy programs (Little Surfers and Juniors) through Academy and Competetive (Select), players progress through a clear pathway focused on strong fundamentals, game understanding, and competitive mindset.
Each stage builds toward independence, confidence, and adaptability so players are prepared for the next level, whatever that may be.
Our Why
We believe soccer should be a place where players feel
challenged, supported, and inspired.
A place where effort matters and mistakes are part of learning.
Where joy and competition coexist.
That is the Surf way.
